So, I don't have to try to avoid them. I'm a 60 year old man, searching for a partner. As I have aged, I've come to understand that the man I hope to meet is not a supermodel but is emotionally available, mature and kind. And, I remain optimistic that I'll meet him.

A problem in the gay community is we often have high expectations with little room for flexibility. Curbing idealizations is key to finding sustainable partnerships.
