This is a book that needs to be read, discussed, and engaged in our communities. This is something that is desperately needed, not only by those outside the fellowship of believers, but even those in it. Where I felt Hambrick had his best points was in discussing the way we isolate those who struggle with same-sex attraction. He mentions how in the church, when others have issues they struggle with, we often have opportunities for them to receive care and counsel.
With same-sex attraction, we don't mention its struggle nor do we offer care and wisdom.

I also will admit that my proclivity to this comes from working with students who see the world in such a different way than generations previous. We all need grace, and we need it shown to us by one another, because we love because Christ loved us first and made Himself our example. What I wasn't crazy about in this book was the structure.
The first two chapters through me off a little in their presentation.
